The 8th ONVIF Developer’s Plugfest was taken place in Mogliano Veneto, Italy from 4th to 6th March. More than 61 senior technical experts from 28 world’s state-of-art IP-based manufacturers attended this testing gala.

The plugfest splits into two parts, pear-to-pear testing and user scenario testing, the former one gives testers full space to inter-test with one another, while the latter.
Upon testing and exchanges, some of Dahua product features are impressed by testing peers, for example, Dahua IPCs has integrated video analysis, which is rare; and some UI design also wins positive feedback. Meanwhile, Dahua Team spotted some existing software bugs, and later had some dig on the causes, having a comprehensive and in-depth analysis, to get the bugs removed and make the products of various main-stream manufactures working well along with one another. “As the chairman Takahiro Iwasaki put it, I agree that the Plugfest is an exceptional open platform, on which, engineers who are impossible to get together and have a face-to-face test on ordinary days, can finally sit together and work on the interoperability. Meanwhile, the three-day testing is also a great opportunity for venders to learn from each other. Dahua renewed partnerships with some of attending manufactures and exchanged views on the technology and the trend,” commented James Wang, Product Director at Dahua Technology.
Attending this Plugfest shows the resolution Dahua holds that to be deeply involved in the internationalized standard, and with its more interoperable and flexible IP products that conform to ONVIF, customers will surely benefit more in choosing Dahua products.
